Morris Knolls Student Assistance Program
Welcome to the Morris Knolls Student Assistance Program (SAP). The SAP consists of a Student Assistance Counselor and a Core Team which provides confidential counseling, intervention, and referral services to students and families in need and promotes healthy student behaviors and choices.
Through this program, the school can assist students who are dealing with the following:
Use of alcohol or other drugs
Mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder
Peer or other relationship struggles
Eating disorders
Grief
Crisis
Personal, family or environmental factors that impact academic performance and personal well-being

Student Assistance Counselor
Patricia Colvin, MA in Ed., SAC
Ms. Colvin has been at Morris Knolls since 1995. After serving as a teacher in the Social Studies Department and coaching Varsity Field Hockey and Freshmen Softball, Ms. Colvin moved into the Guidance Department in 2003.
Students can request an appointment with Ms. Colvin themselves or referrals can be made by administrators, teachers, parents, or friends. Drop-ins are welcome or a pass can be requested.
