Mrs. Stacy Snider
Director
Stacy (Spatola) Snider graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in English and Theatre. She is currently in her final year for her MA in Educational Administration at New Jersey City University. At Morris Knolls, she teaches Lit and Comp, Modern Lit and Language Arts, Theatre I and Theatre II. She has directed our productions of Guys and Dolls, Crazy For You, Merrily We Roll Along and the upcoming production of Little Shop of Horrors.

Before becoming a teacher, she performed extensively throughout the country in shows such as Jekyll and Hyde, Gypsy, Annie, Big River, The Pirates of Penzance, A Little Night Music, Company, Meet Me in St. Louis and Into the Woods. Currently she performs/directs/choreographs with 12 Miles West Theatre Company in Montclair and The Hudson Theatre Ensemble in Hoboken, where she also lives with her husband Brian. Mrs. Snider is thrilled to be at Morris Knolls, as teaching is her first love; plus, those MK kids are pretty talented!

Mr. Andrew Kreckmann
Musical Director

Andrew Kreckmann is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Delaware, holding a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in vocal performance as well as a piano performance minor. Mr. Kreckmann teaches Chorus, Vocal Performance Studio, and Music Theory I at Morris Knolls High School. He also directs the Chorale and Madrigal Singers, the premier auditioned vocal ensembles here at Morris Knolls.

As a baritone vocalist, he has made appearances at Carnegie Hall and as a featured soloist on the Broadway cast recording of Rasputin. On stage, Mr. Kreckmann has played leading roles in The Pirates of Penzance, How to Suceed, and It’s a Grand Night for Singing. On the opposite end of the spectrum, he has also musically directed or accompanied such shows as Merrily We Roll Along, Crazy for You, and Songs for a New World.

Mr. Kreckmann is an active member of MCCD, NJMEA, MENC, and ACDA as served as manager of the 2004-2005 County and Regional Choruses of Northern New Jersey. This year he is president of MCCD as well as accompanist for the 2005 Morris County Regional Choir.


Ms. Krystal Testa
Choreographer
Krystal Beck graduated from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with a BA in History with a concentration in Secondary Education and a Minor in Dance. Prior to college she studied under various mentors, including, Christine Taylor, Annalisa Burns and Voight Kempson. Under Burns she performed in Disney World, Florida (1996) and under Kempson she was part of the 22nd Century Jazz Ensemble, performed in various competitions, and performed in Cancun, Mexico (1999) at the Allegro Caribbean Resort.

While at Wilkes, Krystal performed in various dance shows, which included ensemble and student choreographed pieces. Krystal also performed in various NuArts Productions with a strong focus in Cunningham technique and Minimalism under the direction of Kris Cross. Krystal has also performed with Ballet Northeast where she performed with the ensemble in the Nutcracker (2001) and Swan Lake (2002), and as the Principle Russian in the Nutcracker (2002), and the Principle Spanish lead in Cinderella (2003) under the direction of Kristen Degnan in Kingston, Pennsylvania.

Currently, Krystal teaches history at Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, New Jersey. There, she is the choreographer of Morris Knolls High School musicals. Credits include Merrily We Roll Along (2005) and Little Shop of Horrors (2006). Also, under the direction of Tracy Cunningham, Krystal performed with a professional tap company, What’s On Tap, in Sparta, New Jersey. Krystal is attending East Stroudsburg University, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania for her Masters in Education. She continues to take various dance classes and enjoys working with talented and creative dancers.
