“Mr. Lutt” earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Virginia Tech and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Montclair State University. He also earned his School Library Media Specialist certification from Montclair State. A graduate of Knolls (’89), Mr. Lutt shows his MK pride and spirit regularly, particularly through his off-the-wall spirit week outfits and Halloween costumes (see photos). A former baseball coach for the Eagles, he continues to support the baseball program through his coordination of their primary fundraiser, the MK5K Run/Walk (held in April). Mr. Lutt enjoys the myriad of challenges of being a high school librarian, and he particularly enjoys the interaction with so many students as well as the many opportunities that it provides to help students to grow and develop as young adults.

In his free time, Mr. Luttenberger enjoys playing baseball and golf, watching cartoons with his kids and reality TV with his wife, and spending time with his wife, three kids, and basset hound. He is an ardent music fan, an 80's movie, music, and trivia buff, and an obsessive Virginia Tech football fan (Go Hokies!).
