Welcome to the Morris Knolls School Library. With some 23,361 books, over 629 videos, 326 DVD's, 60 plus magazine subscriptions and 32 networked computer work stations, 30 online databases,over 800 e-book titles and an extensive website, we have many resources to offer. The library is open Monday and Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Students are welcomed with their classes as well as during lunch and study periods. Destiny, our library management system, is the best way to search for books. The books are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal System. All books circulate. Reference books may be checked out overnight. All other books may be borrowed for two weeks. Online database resources available in the Morris Knolls Library include Discovering Collection, Ebsco Magazines, Facts on File (includes African-American History, American History, American Indian History, American Women's History, Ancient and Medieval History, Bloom's Literary Reference, Curriculum Resource Center, Ferguson's Career Guidance, Health Resources, Modern World History, Science Online, and World Geography), Issues-Understanding Controversy, JSTOR, JSTOR Plant Science, Literary Reference Center, NewsBank, Noodle Tools, Opposing Viewpoints, Oxford Art, Proquest Research Library (includes periodicals, Careers and Tech, and AP Science), US History, United States at War, World Book Encyclopedia, World History - Ancient and Medieval Era and World History - Modern Era. Our E-Book collection includes Gale Virtual Reference Library, Salem Health, Salem History, Salem Literature, and Salem Science. Remote access is available for both our online databaes and e-books. Passwords can be obtained at the MK library circulation desk.
