Overview

The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering, located at Morris Hills High School, is a rigorous, highly focused four year program for Morris County Students with career interests in mathematics, science, or engineering. Students complete a challenging curriculum and participate in technical internships with partners from business and industry. Admission to the Academy is competitive, with students selected from throughout Morris County. The Academy is a collaborative effort between the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Morris County Vocational School District, and the Morris Hills Regional District. Academy students are enrolled in the Morris County Vocational School District, which is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council on Occupational Education.
 
Newsweek released its 2015 high school rankings and The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering was ranked 3rd in the nation.  See the Governor Chris Christie's congratulatory letter here.

  • 2015 Admissions Tests (Accuplacer) @ Morris County Vocational School District campus in Denville on Nov. 14th  at 9 AM or 12:30 PM, Nov. 21st  at 9 AM or 12:30 PM, Nov. 30th  at 4 PM, Dec. 3rd at 4 PM,  Dec. 7th at 4 PM, Dec. 10th at 4 PM,  Dec. 12th at 9:30 AM or 12:30 PM, and Dec. 14th at 4 PM
  •  July 18th to July 29th, 2016 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm: Mandatory Summer Session for Admitted Students
